📍 Los Angeles · The Humbled Body Studio
📅 May 6–9 · 4-Day Immersion
9-17:30 with a lunch break
30h of training
WHAT DO WE FOCUS ON?
We bring together two ancestral textile traditions — Rebozo from Mexico and Pha Khao Ma from Thailand — and explore their dialogue with OsteoThai.
🌿 Rebozo & Pha Khao Ma techniques
🌿 Support, traction, suspension and rocking
🌿 Fascia, movement, breath and the nervous system
🌿 Working with the spine, pelvis, shoulders, hips and whole body
🌿 Proprioception, regulation and embodied awareness
🌿 Integrating cloth into OsteoThai, Thai Massage, yoga and somatic practices
WHAT WILL YOU GAIN?
You will learn how to use cloth as an extension of your hands and as a tool for creating deeper connection with the body.
You will explore ways to support, traction, suspend, mobilize and rock the body, creating a dialogue between the inner web of fascia and the outer web of cloth.
You will gain new tools and perspectives that you can integrate into your existing bodywork, massage, Thai Massage, OsteoThai, yoga or somatic practice.
ABOUT THE TRAINING
Woven Wisdom is a 4-day immersive training with Alejandra Ruiz 🇲🇽 and Oliver Chamorro 🇪🇸, bringing together ancestral cloth bodywork from Mexico and Thailand with the principles of OsteoThai.
Rebozo and Pha Khao Ma become a bridge between movement, touch, fascia and the nervous system.
Together, we will explore the relationship between the “inner textile” of the body and the “outer textile” of the cloth — discovering new ways of listening, moving and connecting through touch.
